Just wondered if some of our oldtimers or American posters on here have ever bothered with it at any time or followed some matches/players?
Seems like a whole World of baseball that serves a usefull purpose in the game,especially for some well loved journeymen type players we get so attached to every now & then so as they need not cease to exist on our sporting radar?

Lets face it, the only time anyone worth following played in the Indy Leagues was when Rickey was trying to prolong his career - no doubt he still thinks he can catch Bonds for the home run lead.
Most of the interest in the minors comes down to prospects and prospects play in the affiliated leagues. I'm sure if you had an independent team playing nearby then interest would go up but... |
